John was born in Norfork, Virginia. He graduated from Hendrix College in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and then received his law degree from the University ofo Arkansas. John has been practicing law for the last 31 years, 28 of thos years here in Batesville. He is married to Julie Gregg, and has five children.
